Students Honored for FFA Achievement
Hey, Bobcats! We wanted to take one more opportunity to congratulate these brilliant and talented Whiteford students for their amazing achievement! The students pictured below, (from left to right, Isaiah, Shea, Aubrie, Anna, Madelyn, Allison, Ali, Ava, and Alaina) won the State FFA Ag Issues Contest held during the State FFA Convention at Michigan State University and were recently honored during half-time of the boys varsity basketball game. These students went on to compete at the National FFA Convention held at the Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Whiteford has a stellar FFA program, and we are very proud of our FFA leaders and participating students for all of their incredible accomplishments. Way to go, Bobcats!

Here is some important information regarding January 2nd and 3rd's first "The Advance New Year's Basketball Bash!"
- January 2nd, Greenhills and Jefferson will face off at 5:30PM. Whiteford and Blissfield will follow at 7PM.
- The winners of each game will advance to the Championship game on January 3rd at 4:30PM. A consolation game will take place before the Championship game at 3PM.
- Doors will open to fans one hour before the first game. Tickets can be purchased online prior to the event or with a debit/credit card at the gate. Senior passes, family passes, and individual passes will not be accepted for this event.
Congratulations to our Class of 2026 Whiteford Athletic Hall of Fame inductees. These athletes will be inducted into the Hall of Fame on Friday, January 9th, at the JV/Varsity boys' basketball game vs. Lenawee Christian Schools. Be sure to come out and celebrate these athletes on their incredible achievements. Go Bobcats!
Media Day for Winter Programs will take place on Wednesday, December 10th, after school. Picture packets can be picked up in the Athletic Office or at media day. Final Form emails were sent to winter program families Tuesday morning with a digital copy as well.
On December 12th Whiteford will travel to Summerfield for a Junior Varsity/Varsity Boys' Basketball game.
Whiteford/Summerfield games are always competitive and full of energy! This toy drive, hosted by Summerfield, will give our schools a chance to come together in a really positive way. This is bigger than basketball -- it's about showing what two neighboring communities can accomplish when we team up for a cause that helps others. It's a wonderful chance for both programs to model kindness, leadership, and unity for our students and families.
To participate in this event please bring a new teddy bear to be toss onto the court at half time of the Varsity game. All donations will be delivered to Toys for Tots.

The online application for the 2025-2026 Scholar-Athlete Award is now available. Students can fill out the application online at: mhsaa.com/scholarship. To get started, go to the website provided and begin your application process. Student-Athletes will need to create an account. See Mrs. Van Camp in the Athletic office for the school-specific access code to complete the application. The deadline for consideration of this scholarship is December 5th by 4:00PM.

Am I eligible to apply? Seniors with an unrounded 3.50 or better GPA who have earned a varsity letter in a MHSAA-sponsored sport are eligible to apply.
