Principal

It is an absolute privilege to serve the Whiteford community as the Elementary Principal. Our elementary mantra is “Be safe, Be Kind, Be respectful, Be responsible.” The entire staff strive to promote these qualities each day in all areas of our school. We work to create and develop relationships with students and families, and we take our partnership in raising successful, productive, contributing members of society very seriously.

I have dedicated 29 years to serving students and families in education; with the last 24 years here at Whiteford. I have taught grades kindergarten - 6th, developed Whiteford’s STEM program, worked with fellow teachers as an instructional coach, and coordinated summer school programs. As the principal, I will continue to support the social, academic, and emotional needs of our learners in a positive and nurturing environment. I believe in the potential of every student and will work together with the outstanding Whiteford Elementary staff to provide safe, creative, engaging, and rigorous learning opportunities that meet the needs of all learners.
