The 2019 Whiteford Girls Basketball Camp will be held on June 3-5, 2018 from 3:00 - 4:30 PM. Registration is open to girls in the 2nd - 8th grades. The cost is $40.00 and the deadline to register is May 24th in order to receive a T-shirt. Open registration will be accepted until June 3rd. Click HERE for registration form.
The Monroe County Health Department is hosting a "Back-to-School Health Fair" on Saturday, August 17th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Limited appointments are available. Please call 734-240-7800 to make an appointment. See flyer for details.
The US Patent and Trademark Office is hosting an "All About STEM" day at the Detroit Public Library (5201 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI) on Saturday, May 11th from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. The National Inventors Hall of Fame will be providing hands-on STEM activities that are fun for all ages! The cost is FREE; registration is not required, but it is encouraged.
Important information regarding bus transportation for next school year (2019-2020) was sent via email to those homes in which the district has an address on file. If you did not receive the letter and form via email, please click HERE to obtain a copy of the letter/form. Forms are due back no later than June 1st. On Tuesday, April 16th from 6:30 - 8:30 PM, an important and informative session will be held in the elementary cafeteria on how to keep your children safe in the digital age. Parents of children of all ages will benefit from Mr. Frank's presentation. He is retired from law enforcement (internet crimes against children division) and is now committed to educating parents and staff. We hope you can join us for this important presentation.
