WELCOME TO Agricultural School District

It is our desire that your family's experience with Whiteford Schools will be one of fulfillment, enrichment and exceptional opportunities. Because of the numerous state and local reporting guidelines, this process can be time-consuming and paper intensive. Below you will find links to the various forms necessary to complete the student enrollment process.

Kindergarten Registration

Welcome to Whiteford Agricultural Schools! We are excited to welcome our newest Bobcats and their families as they prepare to begin kindergarten at Whiteford Elementary School.

Kindergarten Eligibility

A child who resides within a public school district or public school academy providing kindergarten may enroll in kindergarten if the child is at least 5 years of age by September 1 of the enrolling school year.

Families who are new to the district and reside within Whiteford Agricultural Schools may also begin the kindergarten enrollment process using the information below.

Kindergarten Round-Up

Families will be asked to reserve a time for Kindergarten Round-Up prior to registration day.

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

Welcome to Whiteford Agricultural Schools! We look forward to welcoming your family to our district. To begin the enrollment process for a new student, please complete our online registration through Infinite Campus.

Once the online registration portion is complete, Ashley Van Camp will contact you regarding the next steps needed to complete your student's enrollment, including scheduling an enrollment meeting.

Required District Forms

The following forms will be completed during the enrollment meeting:

  • Concussion Awareness
  • Infinite Campus Messenger Alert Opt-In
  • Immunization Information Consent

Depending on your student's individual circumstances, the following forms may also be completed:

  • Request for Educational Records
  • Health Information Survey
  • Special Needs/Special Education Survey
  • Home Language Survey
  • Affirmation of Prior Discipline Record
  • Record for Proof of Enrollment
  • Transportation Request Form

Required Enrollment Documents

Please be prepared to provide the following documentation to complete your student's enrollment:

  • Original or copy of the student's birth certificate
  • Official immunization records that are current and up to date
  • Most recent report card or transcript to assist with the scheduling process for students in grades 6–12
  • Current 504 Plan, IEP and MET, if applicable
  • Copies of any applicable court orders or placement papers, such as appointment of legal guardianship, divorce decrees, or other custody documentation
  • Parent/legal guardian driver's license, passport, or visa. The address on the driver's license must match the student's address.
  • Two (2) proofs of residency, as outlined below:

One (1) of the following:

  • Purchase Agreement/Mortgage Statement**
  • Rent/Lease Agreement**
  • Property Tax Bill

AND one (1) of the following:

  • Current utility bill or turn-on notice (water, gas, or electric; cell phone bills are not accepted)
  • Voter ID card
  • Moving company invoice or truck rental receipt validating an address within the district

**If you are not the homeowner or leaseholder, a Residency Affidavit is required. Residency affidavits are valid for one year.

Completing the online registration is the first step in the enrollment process. Please wait for follow-up from Ashley Van Camp after submitting your registration so we can guide you through the remaining steps and ensure all enrollment requirements are completed.

Schools of Choice (Out of district)

Out of district Monroe County residents will need to apply through Schools of Choice through their resident district to attend Whiteford Agricultural Schools. Important Monroe County SOC deadlines: 

  • Application: Out of District Schools of Choice
  • Application Window: April 1, 2026- May 29, 2026
  • Application Deadline to Resident District: May 29, 2026
  • Applicants Notified regarding Accepted/Denied/Waitlist: June 19, 2026
  • Parents/Guardians Formally Accept/Decline: July 17, 2026
  • Student(s) Formally Enrolled at SOC District: July 31, 2026

105c (Out of county)

Out of county residents will need to apply through Out of County Schools of Choice (105c) to Whiteford Agricultural Schools when the application window opens. Important 105c deadlines:

  • 26-27 School Year    
    • Whiteford Elementary (Kindergarten - 2 spots, 2nd Grade - 3 spots)
    • Whiteford Middle School (5th Grade - 4 spots, 6th Grade - 2 spots, 7th Grade - 4 spots, 8th Grade - 4 spots)
  • Application: Out of County Schools of Choice (105c)
  • Application Window:  July 8, 2026 - July 22, 2026
  • Application Deadline to 105c District: July 22, 2026
  • Applicants Notified regarding Accepted/Denied/Waitlist: July 24, 2026
  • Parents/Guardians Formally Accept/Decline: July 27, 2026
  • Student(s) Formally Enrolled at 105c District: September 11, 2026

ONE YEAR RELEASE

In district residents seeking a one year release to another district that is Not Schools of Choice 

Enrollment office

The Enrollment Office for TK-12 Grade at Whiteford Agricultural Schools is located at 6655 Consear Road, Ottawa Lake, MI 49267 in the Middle/High School Enrollment Office (located across from the High School Office), 734-856-1443 ext. 129, Fax 734-856-2564.

The Enrollment Office is open for questions and appointments from 8:00AM to 3:00PM Monday-Friday.
