Hey, Bobcats! Last week we celebrated National School Bus Safety Week, and we want to take a moment to recognize our incredible Whiteford Agricultural Schools bus drivers! Each day, our drivers ensure that hundreds of students get to and from school safely — no matter the weather, the early mornings, or the long routes. Their dedication, patience, and commitment to safety make them true everyday heroes.Thank you to our bus drivers and bus aide, Debra Keefe, Misti Burtscher, Melinda Casey, Cathy Granata, Kris Schroyer, Julie Harsh, Rachael DeBarr and Natasha Brown, for being the first smiling faces our students see in the morning and the last ones they see at the end of the day. You are an essential part of what makes our Bobcat community so strong!

Hey, Bobcats! It’s National School Bus Safety Week! At Whiteford Agricultural Schools, we’re taking this opportunity to celebrate our incredible team of bus drivers who safely transport our students each and every day. Their dedication goes far beyond driving — they are often the first smiling faces our students see in the morning and the last friendly wave at the end of the day. Our drivers manage all kinds of weather, traffic, and schedules with patience, professionalism, and care, ensuring that safety always comes first. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to keeping our Bobcats safe on the road! Let’s all do our part this week (and every week) by practicing safe driving around school buses and showing appreciation to the amazing individuals behind the wheel. Thank you, Whiteford bus drivers — you truly keep our district moving!
Hey, Bobcats! Mrs. Janie Valdez, MS/HS Special Education Teacher, was recognized as Staff Member of the Month for September at Monday's Board of Education meeting.  Meghann Borgelt from Leski Wittman Insurance Agency attended the meeting and presented Mrs. Valdez with a $100 gift card. Janie was nominated by Mr. Jeremy Simmons for being not only one of the most dedicated educators to our students but also one of the hardest working coaches. Superintendent Huard added that Janie’s special interactions and support of students directly impacts their success.
