4th Grade Flower Sale

Hey, Bobcats!! It's that time of year again! This year's 4th grade flower sale is on!!! Please consider supporting our current 4th grade students as they sell flowers to offset the cost of 5th grade camp in the fall! Click HERE for the order form (extra forms are also available from the 4th grade students, themselves, and from the elementary office). All the important details are stated at the top of the form. Please note that all order forms are due, WITH PAYMENT, to the elementary office no later than Friday, April 17th, 2026. Flower pick up day will be held in the elementary school parking lot off of Sylvania-Petersburg Rd. the Thursday before Mother's Day, which is May 7th, from 8am to 6pm. A HUGE thank you to Melanie Masters for her help with the initial organization of this highly anticipated annual event! A BIG thank you to all the helping hands who help make this event such a great success! Another GIANT thank you to the Lievens Brothers Farm for continuing to participate in this fundraiser year after year, and for providing the most beautiful, top-quality plants and flowers!!

Monroe County Technology Millage Renewal - May 5, 2026

As required by state law, the Boards of Education for nine public school districts, the Monroe County ISD, and two charter schools in Monroe County have requested that the Monroe County Intermediate School District Board of Education conduct an election to seek renewal of the county-wide millage for educational technology supporting K–12 curriculum goals.

This is NOT a new tax; it is a renewal request, so local property taxes will not increase. The proposal renews a .9866 mill levy for five years, equal to .9866 cents per $1,000 of taxable home value. For example, a home with a taxable value of $100,000 would contribute $98.66 per year. The requested amount is slightly less than 1 mill.

The election is Tuesday, May 5, 2026, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Registered voters age 18+ in residing in Monroe County school districts may vote. Absentee ballots begin 40 days before Election Day; early in-person voting may be available by municipality.

Whiteford Spring Art Show

Their dedication goes far beyond driving — they are often the first smiling faces our students see in the morning and the last friendly wave at the end of the day. Our drivers manage all kinds of weather, traffic, and schedules with patience, professionalism, and care, ensuring that safety always comes first. Once completed, the Whiteford Agricultural School District's Portrait of a Graduate will represent our school district's vision for the 21st century skills, character traits, and/or social-emotional competencies that students need to succeed in college, career, and life.

What are the hopes, dreams, and aspirations that our community has for its students?
What are the skills and mindsets our children need for success in this rapidly changing, complex world?
What are the implications for the design of the learning experiences—and equitable access to those experiences—we provide in our school system?

We are seeking stakeholder feedback as we create our Portrait of a Graduate. Please provide your thoughtful input by completing the following survey: Portrait of a Graduate Survey. The survey should take 2-4 minutes to complete.

The survey questions ask you to select ten (10) key competencies/terms that best reflect the skills, characteristics, and traits the Whiteford Agricultural School District should strive for in a high school graduate. The questions also allow you to share two (2) new competencies you feel were not included on the provided list. Once completed, this survey data will be used to help guide our next steps in prioritizing competencies and drafting a visual representation of our Portrait of a Graduate. This survey is completely confidential and answers cannot be tracked back to the participants. Thank you for your help!
