Dual Enrollment

Policy Clarification

In general, the district policy regarding cumulative grade point average and course credit, optional in the law, is:

  1. Courses taken in post secondary institutions will not be included in the cumulative grade point average, but notation of grade and credit will be included on the transcript upon verification of completion
  2. Post secondary courses of three (3) semester hours or greater will be granted one-half (1/2) high school credit. Post secondary courses less than three (3) semester hours will be granted one-quarter (1/4) high school credit.
